Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment?
I typically open my books once every few months. When they are open, a booking link will be available in my Instagram bio and on my website. I do take bookings via Instagram DMs while my books are open, but you can also submit a request on my website here.
Do you take walk-ins?
Because of the custom nature of my work and my private studio setting, I am appointment-only. This ensures that every client gets a dedicated, focused session in a quiet environment.
Why is a deposit required?
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your time slot. This goes toward the final cost of your tattoo. It covers the time spent designing your custom piece and ensures the commitment of both the artist and the client.
Does it hurt?
Pain is subjective, but many clients find my fine-line technique to be much more "gentle" than traditional tattooing. Because I use smaller needles and a lighter touch, the skin trauma is minimized.
Can I see my design before the appointment?
I prepare all custom designs for the day of the appointment. We will have time at the start of our session to go over the drawing and make any small adjustments together to ensure it’s exactly what you envisioned.
What styles do you specialize in?
While many know me for my delicate line work and botanical designs, I am a full-range artist. I enjoy working across all styles, including American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Minimalist, and Realism. If you have a specific vision, I’m excited to help you bring it to life!
Do you do color tattoos?
Yes! I love working with color. Whether you’re looking for a soft, watercolor effect, bold saturated hues, or subtle color accents within a fine-line piece, I am fully equipped and experienced in color theory to ensure your ink stays vibrant and beautiful.
Can I bring in my own drawing or reference?
Absolutely. While I will always put my own artistic touch on a design to ensure it functions well as a tattoo (considering skin aging and placement), I welcome any references or personal sketches you have. We’ll work together to make sure the final result is exactly what you want.
How far in advance should I book for a wedding?
I recommend reaching out at least 5 months in advance. This allows us time to coordinate with your venue, secure the necessary mobile licensing from the Department of Health, and design your custom event flash sheet.
Is it safe to get tattooed at a wedding or event?
Absolutely. I maintain the exact same sterilization and safety standards at events as I do in my studio. Every guest receives a single-use needle, medical-grade bandages, and a full aftercare kit.
Can guests choose anything they want?
For events, guests choose from a pre-designed Event Flash Sheet we create together. This keeps the timing predictable so as many guests as possible can get tattooed during your celebration.
Do you offer touch-ups?
Yes! I offer one complimentary touch-up within the first 6 months of your appointment if needed (excluding hands and feet, which are prone to naturally faster wear).
